Md Ali Md Dewal was appointed to our Board on 15 September 2008. He was appointed as the Senior Independent Non-Executive Director of UEM World on 22 September 2003.

He is currently the Chairman of Madon Sdn Bhd, President Komisaris/Chairman of PT Bank Lippo Tbk in Indonesia and sits on the Boards of Institut Jantung Negara Sdn Bhd, Valuecap Sdn Bhd, Proton Edar Sdn Bhd, Proton Cars (UK) Limited and several other private limited companies. He holds a Master of Business Administration Degree from Tulane University, New Orleans, US.
