Omar Siddiq Amin Noer Rashid was appointed to the Board on 1 April 2009. He currently holds the post of Director, Investments at Khazanah Nasional Berhad. He was previously a Director in Investment Banking at CIMB Investment Bank Berhad. Prior to that, he was an Executive Director in the Corporate Finance Practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers in Kuala Lumpur. He joined the firm in London in 1996 before moving to Kuala Lumpur in 2001.

Omar holds a BSc (Econ) from the London School of Economics and Political Science, London (1996). He is also an Associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants England & Wales since 1999 and a CFA charter holder as awarded by the CFA Institute since 2002.
