| Managing Director / Chief Executive Officer
Dato' Wan Abdullah Wan Ibrahim
Dato’ Wan Abdullah Wan Ibrahim was appointed to our Board on 15 September 2008. He joined UEM Land Berhad (“UEM Land”) on 1 January 2006 as the Managing Director. Prior to joining UEM Land, he was the Group Chief Executive Officer of United Malayan Land Bhd, a property company listed on Bursa Securities. From 1996 to 2004, he was with Kumpulan Guthrie Berhad, where his last position held was as the Director of Property Division. In that capacity, he was tasked to lead the property development activities of the group, which covered three listed companies, namely, Kumpulan Guthrie Berhad, Highlands & Lowlands Berhad and Guthrie Ropel Berhad. He was also responsible for the conceptualization and submission of plans for the Guthrie Corridor Planned Communities that covered an area of 11,650 acres linked and accessed by the Guthrie Corridor Expressway.
Prior to this, he spent 10 years with the Emkay Group of companies, whose core activity was property development, and has held several positions including Group Executive Director. He holds a general degree in Business Administration (majoring in Accounting) from the Bolton Institute of Technology, United Kingdom.

Chief Executive Officer , Cahaya Jauhar Sdn Bhd
Mohd Auzir Mohd Tahir
Mohd Auzir Mohd Tahir joined the UEM Group in 1988, rising to his current position in January 2005. He has previously worked for various companies within the UEM Group, including Pengurusan Lebuhraya Berhad, Renong Overseas Corporation Sdn Bhd, Rocpoint (Pty) Limited, Bandar Nusajaya Development Sdn Bhd (“BND”) and UEM Land. He holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Wales, United Kingdom where he graduated in 1982 and he has more than 26 years experience in project management and property development.

Director of Finance, Corporate Affairs & Investment
Lum Tuck Ming
Mr. Lum holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Civil Engineering from Leeds University, UK. He has been a Corporate Member of the Institute of Engineers, Malaysia since 1984 and is also a Professional Engineer registered with the Board of Engineers, Malaysia. He first joined Sunrise in 1991 as a Project Manager. He was promoted to General Manager, Project & Technical Services in 2000. Subsequent to that, in 2003, he became the Chief Operating Officer/Executive Director of Sunrise Berhad. Prior to joining the Sunrise Group, he worked with several leading engineering consultant companies for 12 years. He was promoted to his current position as the Chief Operating Officer of UEM Land Holdings Berhad effective 1 September 2011.

Director, Finance and Corporate Planning
Mohd Zakir Omar
Mohd Zakir Omar joined UEM Land in 2003. Prior to joining UEM Land, he was with Faber Group Berhad from 2000 to 2003 with the last position as Senior Manager, Business Development. He has previously worked for Business Focus Group as an Accountant and subsequently as Head of Finance from 1997 to 2000 and for Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu from 1994 to 1997. He has been a Fellow Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and a Chartered Accountant with the Malaysian Institute of Accountants since 1998. He holds a BA(Hons) Combined Studies, Accounting and Law from DeMontfort University, Leicester, England where he graduated in 1993.

Mahmud Bin Dato’ Dr Hj Abbas
Project Director, Central Region
Mahmud Dato’ Dr Hj Abbas joined UEM Land in 2009 with more than 27 years of experience in Development, Construction and Project Management. He started his career as a Project Engineer at Lend Lease (M) Sdn Bhd, an Australian Project Management company in 1982, after graduating from Brighton University with a degree in Building the same year. He joined the PERNAS Group of companies in 1983 and held several management positions in the group until his departure in 1996. His last position with Pernas was General Manager and Director of its subsidiary, Perspec Prime (M) Sdn Bhd. After that, he worked as Executive Director at Markas Sdn Bhd and General Manager, Development at ENSTEK Sdn Bhd, before he joined MAA Alliance Sdn Bhd in 2002 as Managing/Project Director. Mahmud Abbas has a Sloan Fellowship from the London Business School and is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Building, United Kingdom.

Aminah Abdullah
Aminah Abdullah joined UEM Land on 20 December 2010. Prior to joining UEM Land, Aminah was a freelance Senior Consultant. She is a HR practictioner for more than 25 years in various industries ranging from publishing, manufacturing and property development. A graduate of the University of Singapore, she went on to pursue a Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management when she was with the Singapore Civil Service before moving on with FEP International Sdn Bhd, KIG Glass Industrial Bhd and United Malayan Land Bhd. Aminah also holds a Masters in Business Administration from University of Preston, United States.

General Manager, Development Division
Ong Chou Wen
Ong Chou Wen is the General Manager, Development Division of UEM Land Holdings Berhad after having joined its subsidiary, Sunrise Berhad in December 2006.
He is one of the Heads of Development Division who is responsible for the effective implementation of projects undertaken by the Company. His scope of works covers the project’s life cycle from Inception until the end of Defects Liability Period, which includes developing development proposals & feasibility, product positioning and development strategies, managing project’s P&L and financial targets, product development, project management, design and technical coordination with Consultants and Contractors, technical supports to the Company’s construction arm, authority liaisons and submissions, inspections and approvals, project handing over and defects liability.
Prior to joining Sunrise, he worked with Putrajaya Holdings, the property development subsidiary of the PETRONAS Group Of Companies for 8 years. Over his 8 years with Putrajaya Holdings, he had performed the port-folio of a Project Architect, Design Manager, Technical & Operation Manager and Project Manager in different technical departments. This has widely exposed him to various aspects of the projects, technically from design development until DLP, contractually from tender preparation until final account, and financially from feasibility until closure of project’s account (P&L declaration). His 16 years of experience in the property industry include his practical training in the UK during his study, Design/Project Architect in BEP Arkitek after returning to Malaysia and Chief Resident Architect for a Developer in Hong Kong, Tem Fatt Hing Fung.
Ong Chou Wen received a Bachelor (Hons) Degree in Architecture and a Diploma/MA in Architecture (Master Theses: Evolutionary Conquest of Concrete Highrise) with Commendation in Design & Thesis from the University of Sheffield, United Kingdom. He was also the Award Winner for the Gradus Prize in Architectural Detailing in 1996 and Kenneth Murta Award in Tropical Architecture in 1996 during his educational years in the United Kingdom. He is a registered graduate member of Pertubuhan Arkitek Malaysia (1463) & Lembaga Arkitek Malaysia (A/G 069).

General Manager, Development Division
Ang Kee Ping
Ang Kee Ping is the General Manager, Development Division of UEM Land Holdings Berhad after having joined its subsidiary, Sunrise Berhad in May 2004.
He is one of the Heads of Development Division responsible for planning and development of projects undertaken by the Company. His scope covers complete project’s life cycle from inception until the end of Defects Liability Period, which includes business development (Joint Venture and Land Purchase), market research & feasibility study, planning approval and design development, developing and monitoring project implementation programmes and liaising with authorities.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Housing, Building & Planning from University of Science Malaysia. Prior to joining Sunrise Group, he had gained more than 13 years experience in property development and project management of residential and commercial development especially from the 1 Billion Gurney Park Mixed Development at Persiaran Gurney, Penang which comprises a two-block of 40-storey high-end condominium, a 38-storey super condominium, an 8-storey shopping complex (Gurney Plaza) and a 352-room business hotel.
Throughout his eight years’ of employment in Sunrise Berhad, he has completed multiple projects which include the fully integrated RM1.4 bil self-sustainable Solaris Dutamas Mixed Development comprising of Retail Mall, Corporate Office, Office suites, Shop Office and Designer Suites and the state-of-the-art environmental friendly thermal storage district cooling system.

General Manager, Development Division
Raymond Cheah Ho Chee
Raymond Cheah is the General Manager of Projects Department for Sunrise Berhad after having joined the company in January 2001.
He is one of the Heads of Projects Department responsible for the overall planning and development of projects undertaken by the Company. His scope of works encompasses the holistic project’s life cycle from inception until the end of Defects Liability Period, including strata approval and representing the Developer in various Joint Management Body and Management Corporations. These includes creating new innovative concept, product configuration, feasibility analysis, land purchase and joint-venture deals, design, planning and managing multiple project teams, authority liaisons and submissions, inspections and approvals, through all stages of development. In the course of his works, he has worked closely with various external and internal parties, representing the company and providing leadership and directions in the company’s interest.
Since 2007, he is also part of the Development Committee for Forest Heights in Seremban, a 500 acres Township joint venture between Sunrise Berhad and MCL Land, Singapore, as well as the Development Committee for Parcel G1, G2 and G3 in Bukit Jelutong, which is the company’s first joint-venture with Sime Darby Property Berhad since 2010.
In 2010, he leads the Sunrise team in its first project management foray into Singapore for developments in Marina South and Ophir-Rochor, which will be developed by M+S Pte. Ltd., a joint-venture between Khazanah and Temasek. He is appointed as the Director of Sunrise MS Pte. Ltd. which will undertake this project management and marketing scope of services.
In 2011, he is also elected the Development Committee in Nusajaya Lifestyle Sdn Bhd for the Medini Lifestyle Mall development, a joint-venture between UEM Land and Iskandar Investment Berhad.
He represents the company as the Chief Evaluator for Fiabci’s Malaysia Property Award 2010 – Masterplan Category, and prior to that in 2009, was an Evaluator for High Rise Residential Category. He has conducted a few talks on the national and international platform alongside distinguished panel of speakers on the subject of sustainability and property development.
Prior to joining Sunrise, he has worked with other Malaysian property development and consultancy companies for six years, where his portfolio includes land purchase, feasibility studies, development analysis, leading the project and consultant team in project implementation and completion, as well as various engineering analysis and works for projects and township developments.
Raymond Cheah has successfully completed his Master of Business Administration (MBA) (with Distinction) from University of Sunderland, UK in December 2010. He holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) Degree in Civil Engineering from University of Iowa, United States. He is a Graduate Member of the Institute of Engineers, Malaysia and American Society of Civil Engineering since 1995.
