Ramadhan is a time for sharing and giving, and UEM Land, as part of its corporate social responsibilities, held a few events during Ramadhan with some of the underprivileged within the Gelang Patah community, to help make their Hari Raya more meaningful.

Together with UMNO Gelang Patah, the underprivileged communities of Kg Ulu Pulai, Kg Sungai Melayu, Tebing Runtuh and Pendas Laut, comprising senior citizens, single mothers and the disabled, were identified and given assistance in order for them to celebrate Hari Raya.

The assistance came in the form of food supplies such as cooking oil, tea and coffee, flour, sugar, rice as well as duit raya.

Buka puasa sessions followed by tarawikh prayers were also held during these events.

UEM Land also collaborated with Jabatan Agama Islam Johor to provide Raya goodies to the Orang Asli community at Kampung Simpang Arang.
