Some 16 Pintar Al-Quran teachers were present during the 2-day refresher course organised by UEM Land on 31 Jan and 1 Feb 2009 at the premises of the Johor Educational Technology Division. The event was supported and assisted by the Terenganu Islamic Foundation (YIT), the curriculum designer and developer of our Pintar Al-Quran program. The 2-day training itinerary conducted by YIT program advisors comprises lectures, tutorial and group discussions.

The course aimed to further enhance the teachers’ pedagogic skills. It was also a platform to gain feedback and evaluate the current syllabus progress, teachers’ performances and students’ achievement since the program was introduced in June 2008.

The 2-day learning and sharing sessions also aspired to boost the teachers’ enthusiasm and commitment as well as build their perseverance towards propelling the program’s success. The event was graced by the presence of Tuan Haji Mohd Zulkifli Abu Bakar, Director of YIT who personally reviewed the program’s progress with the teachers.

Also present were En Rusli Zainal Abidin, General Manager, Township and Infrastructure Planning of Bandar Nusajaya Development Sdn Bhd and Puan Karimah Tan Abdullah, General Manager, Corporate Communications representing UEM Land Berhad.
