It was a memorable experience for 40 selected students from UEM Land’s PINTAR schools -SMK Taman Nusa Jaya and SMK Kompleks Sultan Abu Bakar, who visited University Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) in conjunction with the UEM-UKM Micro Controller Project. The visit was organized and funded by UEM Land in collaboration with UKM.

This 2-day visit to UKM/KL is to familiarize the students who will be participating in the UEM-UKM Micro Controller Project which is scheduled to commence in December 2009.The Micro Controller Project is a community development project to develop innovative minds in technology at the same time promoting a sustainable ICT community to benefit the Malaysian community and industry at large.

During the visit to UKM, the students, accompanied by their teachers, visited the Robotic lab at the Faculty of Engineering & Built Environment for a firsthand look at the robot’s prototype as well as the demonstrations of its capabilities.

On the second day, the students and teachers visited the National Science Center and National Planetarium in Kuala Lumpur. After a sumptuous lunch at Mercu UEM, the students headed back to Nusajaya with wonderful memories of the 2-day visit.
