Subang Jaya, ,12th November 2009 - UEM Land Berhad, the master developer of Nusajaya, today signed a Sale and Purchase Agreement with R.E.A.L Education Group Sdn. Bhd. for the purchase of one acre of land by R.E.A.L. Education to establish a R.E.A.L Kids kindergarten in East Ledang.

R.E.A.L is an acronym for Results Enhancing through Active Learning. The R.E.A.L Kids’ pre-school curriculum is a progressive, step-by-step approach to early childhood education, which incorporates fun and joyful learning into the development of a creative and confident child, who is able to think and solve problems as well as possess dynamic leadership qualities, effective communication skills and interpersonal skills.

R.E.A.L Kids’ approach is based on the Multiple Intelligence (M.I.) concept. The MI concept allows us to identify the preferred learning style of the child. This accelerates learning because when we understand how they learn, we are able to teach them better.

The highlight of its curriculum is its Character First! Programme which encompasses 49 character qualities. Through this programme, children learn the importance of good character and how to develop it.
UEM Land Holdings Berhad Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, in his speech said, “With this latest addition of R.E.A.L Kids, Nusajaya is now poised to offer the entire range of educational facilities – from pre-school to college and university.”

The other educational institutions that will be located in Nusajaya will be the Newcastle University Medicine (NUMed) Malaysia, the medical faculty of Britain’s Newcastle University and Marlboro College Malaysia, a British independent co-educational boarding school for children between 13 and 18 years old.
