The Sekolah Hijau program will involve three of UEM Land’s PINTAR primary schools in Nusajaya, as a pilot. The program will see the involvement of UEM Land and UKM in encouraging the students to be more environmentally conscious and aware of global warming and climate change. Activities will include greening the schools to offset carbon emission and composting as a way to manage organic wastes in schools.
This program is part of UKM and UEM Land’s efforts to instill and develop public awareness on the importance of environmental conservation starting with the young generation who will be leaders of the future.
