NUSAJAYA, Wednesday, 10 February 2010 - UEM Land Holdings Berhad, the master developer of Nusajaya, today distributed advertisement kits to Senai Airport Taxi drivers in a bid to create awareness and promote Nusajaya to the public.
The advertisement kits which contain information on the development of Nusajaya and UEM Land Holdings Berhad were distributed to 100 taxi drivers by the General Manager of Strategic Marketing, UEM Land Holdings Berhad, Zamry Ibrahim in Nusajaya Centre.
The advertisement kit will be strategically positioned onto the back of the taxi’s front passenger seat to ensure visibility and to attract passengers to peruse the information, thus, creating awareness for Nusajaya and generating interest amongst them to visit Nusajaya.
Cognizant of the rapid growth and the effectiveness of taxi advertising, Zamry said the drivers will become ”Brand Ambassadors” for Nusajaya and they can play a major role in disseminating information on Nusajaya developments to the public.
”With a myriad of activities taking place within the vicinity of Nusajaya and realising that the Senai Airport taxis are the main transportation into Johor Bahru, we believe that this initiative is an effective strategy to create awareness and promote Nusajaya to the public and prospective investors,” Zamry said.
He added that UEM Land plans to continue to collaborate with other major taxi companies in Johor Bahru in its efforts to further promote Nusajaya.
Earlier during the event, the taxi drivers were briefed on Nusajaya and were taken for a site tour to various developments in Nusajaya including Kota Iskandar, Puteri Harbour waterfront development, Southern Industrial and Logistics Clusters (SiLC), Afiat Healthpark, Nusjaya Residences - East Ledang, Ledang Heights, Horizon Hills, Nusa Idaman; Educity, Medini and Legoland.
