NUSAJAYA, Sunday, March 28, 2010: UEM Land Holdings Berhad, the master developer of Nusajaya, key driver of Iskandar Malaysia, today hosted a “Super Sunday” with hundreds of potential property buyers from Singapore and Malaysia participating in the event.
The all fun and games “Super Sunday” event, held at UEM Land’s waterfront and marina development, Puteri Harbour, is an event aimed at attracting potential buyers to own properties in Nusajaya. The event, which continued till later in the evening with a barbeque dinner as its main highlight, was also organised as part of UEM Land’s efforts to build stronger relationship with its property owners in Nusajaya.
“This event is a great platform for us in UEM Land to get closer to the public and the existing home owners in Nusajaya and to give them the first hand viewing of the rapid developments in Nusajaya. Apart from that, this is the best avenue for us to showcase our residences to those potential buyers who are hunting for their dream homes,” said Zulkifli Tahmali, project director for Nusajaya.
He added that the event is also part of UEM Land’s way of showing its appreciation to the community and Nusajaya home owners for their continuous support and confidence in UEM Land.
This year is the second year UEM Land organised a “Super Sunday” event and similarly to last year, UEM Land chartered buses to ferry the Singaporeans invitees from Jurong Point to Puteri Harbour while their local invitees were provided with a shuttle coach service from Jusco Bukit Indah, Nusajaya.
Various fun and games activities were lined up for the public which include boat rides around the harbour, paddle boats, banana boat rides, face painting and blow pipe experience. The public were also given the privilege to have a free bus tour, accompanied by commercial tourist guides, to have a first-hand viewing around the Nusajaya catalytic developments.
Later in the evening, more than 100 invited home owners attended the barbeque dinner where they were treated with sumptuous barbeque spread while they were given the opportunity to mingle amongst themselves.
Based on the encouraging support and turn-out, UEM Land plans to make “Super Sunday” an annual event.
